A USDA “large” egg weighs .12 to .13 pounds. The goose egg weighs .41 pounds.
As long as I’m listing sizes, in case you are curious:
medium .104 – .118 lbs
large .119 – .134 lbs
extra large .135 – .150 lbs
jumbo .151 lbs or larger
