You can get our fresh vegetables, day-range eggs, and day-range chicken and duckling by:
- joining our summer CSA Farm Fresh Food Club
- fall and winter – Plattsburgh’s Winter Farmers Market. You may also order our fresh greens and some root cellar veggies through the winter. We will pack to your plattsburgh.locallygrown.net order, and deliver into Plattsburgh or let you pick up here.
- shopping at the Wednesday Lake Placid Farmers Market during the summer and fall
- email us at info@rhomestead.com for availability of eggs, chicken, duck, and goose
At Rehoboth Homestead, we sell eggs year-round from our home. Free-range broilers, ducks, and geese are also available in season.
Rehoboth Homestead is just off Route 9, nine-tenths of a mile south of Bear Swamp Road (map). This is about a mile and a half south of Ausable Point Campground and north of the bridge over the Ausable River that is a couple miles north of Ausable Chasm. Jabez Allen Road is actually old Route 9, following the top of the hill.
We will offer an 20-week CSA Farm Fresh Food Club from June through October and an 6-week fall membership for the week after Labor Day through mid-October for those who have summer gardens In 2012 we are adding CSA deliveries to sites in Plattsburgh and along our travel route to Lake Placid. The requirements for CSA delivery is that we have at least 5 full share or 10 small share size members at the site.
You may get our fresh vegetables, herbs, flowers, eggs, and poultry directly from us Wednesdays at the Lake Placid Farmers Market June through the fall, and then with online orders delivered to Lake Placid through the winter. In the fall and winter we also participate in Plattsburgh’s Winter Farmers Market, indoors at the City Gym on the Old Base Oval. These are producer-only markets, meaning we can only sell what we actually produce. Vendors are not allowed to buy from wholesale markets and resell from their stand as they do at so many farmers markets. The quality and variety are outstanding and the customers wonderful.
