As the fall descends upon us with cold nights and early evenings, we move to the winter farmstore with the wonderful carrots, beets, winter squashes, gold potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, and garlic. We harvest our honey in August, so have a good supply of fresh, all-natural honey in the farmstore.
We also have our ready-to-cook chicken (whole, boneless breasts and tenders, thighs, drumsticks, wings, liver, and stock packs) and duck as well as eggs, all from chickens who are fed certified organic/non-GMO feed. Even in winter the chickens like to go outside most days, though in the winter they live in a sunny hoophouse.
We supplement with dairy and meat products from a couple local farms that we trust.
The farmstore is honor system, but you can ask at the house for assistance if needed. There is a motion detection light outside so if you come after dark, once you get into the yard in front of it you will have light. You may pay with cash, check, or using your phone with Venmo, Zelle. Square Cash, or PayPal.
